Evgeny directly participated in creation and transformation of several telecommunication sectors and adjacent technologies: • liberalisation of long distance ILD / DLD calling • development of ISPs and broadband home networks • consolidation of fixed-line and mobile operators market • construction of fiber backbone transport networks • deployment of VoIP and CPaaS platforms

Every stage of Evgeny’s work was related to creation of services for mass B2C and B2B audience and resulted in significant value creation for his shareholders. Evgeny’s career as a top-manager was closely linked with such companies as PeterStar, Petersburg Transit Telecom, MegaFon and MTT. In addition, during 2006-2008 Evgeny Vasilyev headed up Department for State Policy in info-communication technologies of Ministry of Information and Communications of Russia.

As an entrepreneur and investor in early VC stages Evgeny helped set up several tech and IT companies.

Evgeny enjoys long trips as an auto-tourist and likes spending time with founders to improve engineering backend of projects.

Evgeny graduated from automation and computer science faculty of Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University (LETI) in 1996 and the same year received his MBA degree from LETI-Lovanium business school.

Marat successfully participated both in starting up new businesses and in development of large corporations. He started out as a chief accountant, budget controller and then became a finance director in leading fixed-line operators. Marat’s career was linked with such companies as Petersburg Transit Telecom, Synterra and, from 2008 to 2021, MTT.

Marat implements the same principles at work and in his family life: absolute sober approach, high effectiveness and attention to detail.

Marat is a keen kite-surfer and he is a passionate cook.

Marat graduated from Saint Petersburg Trade and Economics institute with a degree in accounting and audit in 2000.

Denis has a deep experience as both Chief Product Officer and as Sales & Marketing director. His career started in Beeline and from 2010 Denis started working for MTT, where he managed several regional branches and eventually headed up the commercial functions of the company. Denis has had a significant impact on transformation of MTT business model from transit carrier to provider of intellectual services and universal communications.

Denis used to play in a band, he tended a bar in the UK and worked as an auditor for KPMG. He can read his clients thoughts.

Denis graduated from International Institute of Economics and Law (MIEP) in Nizhny Novgorod in 2006 and had taken executive education courses from Cologne University of Applied Sciences.

Arthur was a CFO and finance director of companies in various industries – from hospitality to telecom operators to internet companies. His work on roll-up and increasing scale of these businesses resulting in his direct constant involvement in M&A, capital transactions as well as raising debt and equity capital for growth. In this capacity Arthur worked for Radisson SAS, Metromedia International Telecommunication Inc, Kosmos-TV, PeterStar, Synterra, Rambler Media and he has completed several dozen transactions in TMT sector.

Over the last 10 years Arthur has been specialising on investments and asset management. He is a Partner with UFG Private Equity – one of market leaders in institution-backed private equity funds operating in Russia. Among other projects Arthur was responsible for UFG’s investments in taxi aggregation and ride-hailing apps (Vezet taxi) and shared use / co-location telecom infrastructure (Russian Towers).

Arthur enjoys working on improvement of business processes. If he were not a financier he would become a cobbler. Arthur loves opera and he is always short of time to read all books he planned.

Arthur graduated from Economics faculty of Sochi State University in 1995, he qualified with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2001 and continued professional education at London Business School.
